Chibi Tyranid Dice Bag

So I'm working on a painting a Tyranid dice bag, but I took a break from it and made this chibi one. It is my extra large dice bag pattern made using a printed cotton fabric

The original artwork is not mine, but I can't find the artist for most of the pictures (I just find a bunch of reposts). The chibi ravener is by Aitocai. If you are or know who the original artist is, please let me know so that I can properly attribute them.

Here is the quilting before I cut out the bag. I did a wash using the textile medium because the symbols did not show up well with just quilting.

Salon Curtains

I sewed some curtains for the salon. The first is for hiding my disinfection box and strainer. My business colors are orange and teal so I pulled some stash cotton fabric. I didn't have a lot of the orange so I figured I would do a nice band in the middle between the teal. It ended up about two inches too short even though I measured (I must have used more fabric to go over the tension rod then I planned).

To extend it to cover the bottom of the shelf, I added on the orange ruffle. I had about three inches of the fabric and needed to cover two inches of space. I spent a half hour trying to make my rolled edge attachment work before folding and ironing down the barest of hemmed edges. The I did a zig-zag stitch for the top of the ruffle and attached it to the rest of the curtain. I used french seams on the rest of the curtain so it doesn't match on the back. It bothers me a little, but who is going to see that besides me.

I also made a curtain to hide my sewing room without needing to close the door. I think it is a rayon crepe fabric also from my stash with a cotton pullback. This also helps keep the heat in the salon as my basement tends to be chilly.

Easter Chick Canvas

A canvas I painted to display some Easter nails. The chick is my version of an Easter Card published by M. Wessler

Paint Brush Holder

I keep my nail art brushes in a small container with my paint tubes. They were getting knocked around and losing the clear protector tubes so I needed to make a brush holder. This is a small sheet of plastic canvas laced through with elastic thread and tied in the back.

Ultramarine / Dark Eldar Dice Bag

Halved blue and green dice bag with an Ultramarine and Dark Eldar symbol. I think the zipper pull turned out really nice for this one.

Eldar Dice Bag

Red dice bag with an Eldar symbol. Using the same method as the earrings I've been painting, I made a zipper pull with a matching symbol.

Laundry Basket Lid and Liner

One of the regulations for my nail salon is that I need to have a laundry basket with a lid and washable liner. I bought this collapsible hamper because of the color before reading about the regulation so I sewed my own drawstring bag and lid.
