These are a pair of converse shoes that I painted for a friend as a birthday present. His favorite comic book character is Captain America and loved the final results. The original artwork is not mine as I asked him to pick out pieces he liked, but both ended up being heavily modified.

Pop Top Mittens

These are pop top mittens made using a modified version of Podster Gloves pattern. Knitted in Prism Merino Mia yarn in the color Alpine using US size 1 (2.25mm) needles. I knitted these as a gift for a friend, and they turned out so nice I plan on making a pair for myself.

Hokie Legwarmers

These are some legwarmers I knitted for my mother-in-law. They are made of  Loops & Threads Impeccable yarn in the colors burgundy, white, and pumpkin using US size 6 needles.

Tyranid Hat

This hat is for my husband. I wanted it to have more of a traditional color work look with the DNA strands surrounding the Tyranid icon.
